What is color glossing?

Color glossing is a process that infuses your hair with semi-permanent color for a short period of time. The process uses less damaging ingredients than traditional color processes. It helps seal the cuticle, adding a healthy shine to the hair.

You can choose a pigmented gloss to slightly darken hair, change tonality like from ash blonde to golden brown, our tone down color or highlights that are too brassy or bright. Or if you want just added shine without altering color, you can choose a clear gloss. The gloss usually lasts 2-3 weeks.

Alumni Spotlight: 2009 Graduate Brian Pham

Phagans graduate Brian Pham is a hairdresser and district trainer for Regis.

When did you attend Phagans?
I graduated in 2009 and was a full-course student. I chose Phagans after looking at several other schools and decided Phagans was the best out of all of them and also had financial aid available, which helped me get through school, because I didn’t have much money.

Welcome to Phagans Keilee, how long have you been with us?

It’s been three and a half months now.

How did you get started in this industry?
It’s always been a passion. I was involved in dance recitals when I was younger and always liked the hair and make-up part of it. This was something that carried with me through High School, and I started in beauty school with Paul Mitchell at 17, while I was still in school.

Tell me about going to beauty school.
It was a lot of fun. I went to a platform artist school, which was a really cool experience. I liked the upbeat environment and the teachers were amazing. I found out that I really liked to cut hair. I was …
